What is this class about?
This workshop is designed to assist mothers and mothers-to-be
to safely engage in an exercise program during pregnancy.
What will I take from this class?
One of the cornerstones of this workshop is educating the participants
about the anatomical and physiological changes during pregnancy. You
will learn:
- What to expect (physiologically) while pregnant
- How your physical changes
will affect your activity
- How to stay fit safely during your pregnancy
Why should I take this class?
There are several controversial issues regarding pregnancy and
exercise. Many of these issues still require rigorous research,
however, we will discuss various pros and cons relating to some of
these debated topics during this workshop.
