Build a Lifelong Fitness FoundationDeveloping a balance of good fitness habits and proper nutrition is the foundation for attaining a healthful lifestyle. Each element of a fitness program contributes equally to a person's overall well being. Nutrition, weight training, interval and cardiovascular training, stretching, "core strength," balance and relaxation techniques should all be addressed by a fitness program. In addition, it is essential for these components to be executed at an appropriate time with correct form and technique. More often than not, exercise enthusiasts are engaged in activities that are ineffective or put them at risk for injury. Unfortunately, many professional athletic trainers lack the knowledge to coach properly, don't bother to correct poor form, or teach inappropriate or even dangerous training techniques. Improper training technique nearly always results in injury (often, acute injury) followed by chronic ailments such as back pain, knee damage, joint impingement and other debilitating health issues. To ensure that all elements of a fitness program are included and properly executed, it is imperative that a highly educated and experienced physical fitness trainer be consulted. Rena employs her education and experience while exuding a positive and encouraging nature. The philosophy at AeroFitness is that a balanced approach to fitness is essential for achieving and sustaining a healthy body and mind. |
